About This Mod
Vice Cry: Remastered is the most complete graphics overhaul Vice City has. It rebuilds the city's textures from the ground up — buildings, roads, sidewalks, signage and vehicles all get high-resolution replacements that hold up on a modern monitor.
Crucially, it never fights the original art direction. The pink sunsets, the chrome, the Art Deco hotels and the hazy 1986 colour palette are all still here — just sharper. It is the first mod most players install before anything else.
What's Improved
- HD textures for every building, road and sidewalk
- Remastered vehicle bodies, glass and chrome
- Sharper weapon and pickup models
- Cleaned-up signage, billboards and shopfronts
- Reworked vegetation, palms and beach detail
- Faithful to the original 1986 colour grade
- Works alongside SkyGFX, ENB and Project2DFX
Tip: install Vice Cry first, then layer SkyGFX or an ENB on top. The textures do the heavy lifting; the lighting mods just add the final polish.
Requirements
- GTA Vice City for PC — the 1.0 EXE is recommended
- Modloader — so the textures load without overwriting game files
- Roughly 200 MB of free disk space
- An Open Limit Adjuster if you stack other texture mods
How to Install

- Download the Vice Cry: Remastered archive using the button above.
- Unzip the mod's folder straight into your modloader directory.
- Launch the game — Modloader applies the textures automatically.
- Optionally add SkyGFX or an ENB preset for extra lighting polish.
