What This Cheat Does
The Faster Clock cheat accelerates the passage of time in GTA Vice City, making day and night cycles occur more rapidly.
This cheat is particularly useful when waiting for specific events or missions that are time-sensitive, allowing you to progress faster through the game.
How to Enter the Cheat
On PC
Type LIFEISPASSINGMEBY during normal gameplay — there is no console or menu to open. A message confirms the cheat is active.
On PlayStation
Enter the button combo on your controller during gameplay — not while paused. A confirmation appears on screen.
On Xbox
Enter the button combo during gameplay. The game confirms the moment the cheat activates.
Good to Know
Use it before timed missions for a quicker experience.
Heads up: GTA Vice City cheats can’t be turned off once entered — some keep running until you reload, and a few (especially the character-model cheats) can break missions and cutscenes, so use them on a separate save file. Entering cheats also disables achievements and trophies on the Definitive Edition.
